NCI SBIR Program Director Sarra Djemil and Director of Investor Relations Brittany Connors will provide a detailed overview on funding opportunities and other commercialization resources that biotechnology researchers can use to advance their projects.

Attendees will also get the chance to hear from an SBIR-funded company during the “Ask an Awardee” session moderated by Program Director Ming Zhao. Chief Scientific Officer Rafael Guerrero-Preston of Puerto Rico-based LifeGene BioMarks, Inc. will share his biotech entrepreneurship journey through the program.

This presentation is a must-attend event for researchers who are interested in translating their research to bring their ideas to life. Topics to be covered include:

Following the presentation, selected attendees will have a chance to meet one-on-one virtually with NCI SBIR program staff to discuss their cancer technology project and funding eligibility.
