All the help you need to open or grow your business in one place
The Entrepreneurial Center for Women in Agriculture (CEMA, for its Spanish acronym) was established as a response to the social underestimation of women’s ability to partake as entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. CEMA serves as an educational initiative aimed at women who want to establish an agribusiness and agro-entrepreneurs looking to expand their business. CEMA provides support through workshops led by specialists from the Agricultural Extension Service (SEA) and professors from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology form the School of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.
